An emerging audio technology that could be used during classrooms for educators is a cassette player system, as well as headphones for students. The reason this could be helpful for inside the classroom is because it can help read off to students, and help them have more focus on what they are trying to focus on. Instead of being distracted by others around them with other unnecessary noise, they will be focused on one thing, the material they are learning or observing. These technologies are easy to use, as well as cheap because there are so much other tuned up technology devices out there that are also helpful, but why not use the cheaper choice, when it works just as well as others? As well as these headphones, you can use them for internet audio, so you do not have to purchase other DVD's, CD's or even movies when the internet provides you with so much.
The traditional technology I would consider using for my classroom is the overhead projector. I would consider using the overhead because it is easy to use, and is now considered pretty cheap. I feel myself writing on transparencies is very convenient and I enjoy writing on them. To get my students involved, I will have games that relate to the lesson so that my students do not end up bored during classes. If my students are bored than I believe they will not do well on certain tests, and that if they are focused and into the lesson, they will be able to transfer that knowledge, and do well in the classroom, quizzes, and tests.

Chapter 6 Technology in the classroom
If I were to choose if I would rather teach in a classroom that had the ability feed off of learning with technology. I believe technology in the classroom is a very positive way to have students interact with the lessons that are being taught. Students that are more involved and interacted with the lesson are able to feed of and gain more knowledge which will help them in the long run. A specific technology that I would like to experience is microphones. I would like to experience with microphones while students give presentations of some sort in projects or presentations. Why I would like to experience with microphones is that it will take off the pressure of being embarrassed in front of a large group of people, and will bring some entertainment into it. Instead of doing the same original presentation, why not spice it up a little bit and use microphones to bring a realistic vibe. When I become an educator I think as myself as a leader and not a follower, so I like to be different and other students will feed off of that as learners and will help them.
